What is a family?

Academic families at Thurgood Marshall Academic High School will provide a nurturing and supportive setting for students during their ninth and tenth grade years so that all students can succeed in their classes and meet the school's high academic standards and so that the school can realize its mission.

Thurgood Marshall Mission Statement:

Thurgood Marshall Academic High School is a college preparatory school with a focus on science, mathematics, and technology. We are a community of actively engaged learners and teachers seeking to develop all individuals academically, physically, socially, and emotionally, in a healthy, safe, respectful and cooperative learning environment. We stand commited to providing Expected Schoolwide Learning Results for all individuals in order to prepare them for the challenges of the 21st Century.
